The storyboard was basically complete and was a great success but we had to work hard on the script which was not a great success. Some of us were enjoying themselves with the camera and that was a great success but everythings a great success these days whic is a great success :) we successfully succesed the successful success and succsessed the successfull success successfully....which was a great success.....:).........wait... wat im i saying.... err... even this successful success successfully written success can successfully indicate our successfully successed success!&lt;br&gt;18/02/09&lt;br&gt;We successfully completed the storyboard and the script. There is just the filming to do and we are learning how to use the camera. We also discovered a program to edit the movie and it was a lot of fun as it can reverse the movie and even the sounds are reversed. We hope we can start filming next week.&lt;br&gt;25/02/09&lt;br&gt;We modified the script(mostly Michel), did a powerpoint(also mostly Michel&amp;#39;s work) and filmed a bit. There is less to be done now with the modified script and the final outcome is slowly but surely taking shape. Because of the modifying, we did not have much time to film but we will diefinitely catch up which is definitely a great success.&lt;br&gt;4/03/09&lt;br&gt;Today we did some filming and are nearly complete. There is just the editing which may be a problem because we have just got the footage on the computer this afternoon. We also wrote our &amp;quot;most important things about teamwork&amp;quot; which are:&lt;br&gt;1.Getting on with the job&lt;br&gt;2.Organising and agreeing on who must do what&lt;br&gt;3.Willingness to join in&lt;br&gt;4.Not dumping all the work on one person&lt;br&gt;5.Being aware of what is happening and&lt;br&gt;6.Sorting out problems and conflict&lt;br&gt;11/03/09&lt;br&gt;Aidan did not come today but it was not a problem as Michel is our only actor and I(Trevis) did the filming. We have edited most of the film and it looks good. We also did the multiple intelligence test. The script was slightly modified too. We hope to finish the movie soon; maybe next week.&lt;br&gt;18/03/09&lt;br&gt;We had guests today. They were two men from Swinburne University who helped us know more about web2.0. Apart from that we did the editing and we are nearly complete.Very hopefully, the film will be complete by next week with the music and all.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;BLURB&lt;br&gt;This is, if you haven&amp;#39;t noticed, a movie. A short movie about a very active boy called Michel and a very temperamental computer blowing up. It is a short and simple sketch and we think it went very well. Unfortunately we couldn&amp;#39;t add music and it became a silent movie... well, not so silent since you can hear some sounds if you turn the volume up a bit, but there are subtitles so that you can understand what is happening. Michel did a good job acting, nice work Aidan for the filming and thanks to Trevis who did the writing. Enjoy!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Font and editing tips in Ulead&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;If you are having trouble editing or want to add something special on Ulead, here are some tips we found out to help you:&lt;br&gt;1)If you are putting videos up and found out that you missed one, you can put the video in the overlay track and back into its place in the main movie.&lt;br&gt;2) If you are having trouble editing characters in your subtitles, be sure that the font is in your taste and you can add or remove shadows and borders by clicking on the borders/shadows/transparency option. I used different font sizes such as 60(the original),20-40( I don&amp;#39;t remember) and 100( for big ones), if u do it too small, it will get really difficult to read the words. So make them larger by dragging them. For the shadows, I don&amp;#39;t recommend them because they look dodgy but if you really want shadows, try not to use blue and a  black shadow because the words would be unreadable, use green,yellow or lighter colours. I did not try light shdows but I guess you should just do the opposite.&lt;br&gt;3) If you find out that you cannot edit your characters, make sure that you double-clicked on the titles on the playing window/screen or in the Titles track (the big T). If that doesn&amp;#39;t work, don&amp;#39;t be afraid to start again.&lt;br&gt;4) If you want some animation for your subtitles, just click on the animation tab, which right next to the edit tab in the middle of your screen, and tick the &amp;#39;apply animation&amp;#39; box and choose your animation. You can make words go faster than others by clicking on the customize animation button( the 2 Ts).&lt;br&gt;5) You can have samples of customized titles in the Title menu at the top. You can modify them to appropriate text for your movie. If you did that, sometimes you can find that the next (sub)title will be in the same format and animation as the sample one. To turn it back to normal, we changed the borders and shadows, the font and removed the animation. This takes quite a while and if you know an easier way to do this, please let us know.&lt;br&gt;6) You can shorten the length of videos, sounds and titles by dragging the stuff short in the tracks but you cannot make videos and sounds go for longer, you need to find or make longer ones. Titles/subtitles are no problem, you can lengthen them for as long as you like.&lt;br&gt;7) You can put effects in the movie. There are two types of effects: one affects the movement and the other ,the image itself. The first one can be found in the effects menu and there are effects such as split, turn page and zipper. These ones were not very useful for us as we only used the second one. The latter can be found when you click on the attribute section when you click on a video. Then you will find lots and lots of animations like blurring, bubbles, kaleidoscope,rain and even old film!:)&lt;br&gt;8) You can access different kinds of options from the bar at the top(the one that says video at first). Travis did most of the storyboarding and Adrein and i came up with most of the ideas apart from the alot of slides at the end wich travis came up with himself.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This week, the 18/02/09, was AGAIN myself day. Today we continued with the story boarding and the script. We pretty much ended up finishing both. the problem was we got a camera that i wasn&amp;#39;t familiar with so i had to learn to use the camera again today. we also learned how to add videos to the computer and use ulead. i can even play videos backwards!! thats the coolest thing YET! but i think we changed the bit about kidnapping and instead the guy just gets a prank played on him or something. i expect we&amp;#39;ll get to do some filming next week. so yay...=)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This week, the 26/2/09, was once &lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;again&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt; myself day. Today i started to (once again) make the powerpoint as i forgot that saving didn&amp;#39;t work on my account last week. so this time i worked on it through travis&amp;#39; account. so yay. i finished it, better than before and modified the script as it didn&amp;#39;t work with the new powerpoint. it goes as follows... Michel (me) is on the computer. he suddenly finds a popup and out of curiosity he gose against his judgement and clicks on it. then the computer starts to stuff up and evventually explodes (at this point we throw small bit of ripped paper to the screen to create the effect better). then Michels dad arrives and kills him. its simple yet effective. another problem is that the computer that we used to install the camera now has a big &amp;quot;Not Working!&amp;quot; sign on it so we have to install it again. so yet again i expect we&amp;#39;ll be filming next week.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Today (4/3/09) was ONCE AGAIN myself day. Today as soon as we got the camera we got into it. we had a little slip up though. once again WE GOT THE WRONG CAMERA. but never mind. we finished filming and then for the next 2 periods we did nothing seeing as our new camera was booked and we hadn&amp;#39;t managed to get the footage on the comp before recess. so then the next two periods we did this passport thingo and put our footage in the computer. next week we have to think of a resolution to the problem though so we&amp;#39;ll have a &amp;#39;lil more filming to do. oh and scripting. *sigh&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Today, the 11/3/09 was ONCE AGAIN myselfday. today in the morning we wrote the rest of the scrpt. the resolution to the problem. then we did nothing all morning seeing as our camera was non existent. we also did this test thing that after giving us a few questions tould us what kind of people we are. how we think and stuff. here are my results:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Naturalist strength- 60/100&lt;br&gt;Musical strength- 70/100&lt;br&gt;logical strength- 10/100&lt;br&gt;Existential strength- 30/100&lt;br&gt;interpersonal strength- 60/100&lt;br&gt;kinesthetic strength- 6/0100&lt;br&gt;verbal strength- 30/100&lt;br&gt;intrapersonal strength- 60/100&lt;br&gt;visual strength- 70/100&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hoorahh! ok then after recces we got strait into filming... with of course the usual small slip up.... &lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;WE GOT THE WRONG CAMERA YET AGAIN!!!!&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt; but as usual we adapted to the new camera and of cousre had to add it to ANOTHER computer... again!! but anyway we did some filming and were about to add the subtitles.we&amp;#39;ll be finished soon and i susspect next week will be mainly devoted to stuffing around. this is michel, signing out!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Today, the 18/3/09, was yet again my self day. today i had little to do. travis was taking over the subtitles and aiden was doing stuff so i was pretty much free to do as i pleased until ... bum BUM BBUUMM!!!! we got the wrong camera AGAIN. and ironically it was the same one that we started off with. but the good news was we didn&amp;#39;t need to do any filming so yay! at period 3 however the teacher asked us these questions:&lt;br&gt;How well did you participate in your teams goals? i suppose i participate well in my teams goals.&lt;br&gt;what strengths did you discover? I found that working in a group, although a bit annoying sometimes, could make a big task seem easier. I found I was not bad at quickly changing and adapting to lots of different problems and solving them or making them work for us rather than against us. My web was very different to normal class&amp;rsquo; but I think I preferred normal class&amp;rsquo;. That&amp;rsquo;s not to say that I the whole myself program was a flop. We made a video about this and learnt a great deal about movie editing. The software we used to edit was called Ulead and was fun to edit with. The other thing we leant about in My Web was how to use a blog site. We posted threads, edited our own pages and discussed topics on the internet. Overall I thought that My Web was very worthwhile and I learnt quite a lot from it. My strengths were editing, blogging and narrating. I worked with 2 new students fizza an helen. We also planned wat cloths the characters would wear, we keept it simple but effective an helps with telling the story. We decided to take this and make it our own, we decided to make our movie about a girl who was chatting to her friend on the internet and a random guy enters the conversation then he decided to meet up with her and almost hurts her but there was a police nearby to stop him, our other ending was he chats to her on the internet and harasses her then she finally builds up the courage to tell her parents and the police gets involved, tracks him down and goes to jail. After that Seb, David and I went to the presentation centre to see if our sound would be better or worse than it already was, but unfortunately it stayed the same which was bad. Then after Lunch, Seb and David started working on subtitles because the background sound was so bad that you couldn&amp;#39;t hear us talking. I was looking for copyright free Music so that we could put it over the top of our movie. But Seb and David ended up finding a way to take the background sound out of the picture, so now we can hear everything clearly.&lt;br&gt;My Student Comments:&lt;br&gt;Yes i think i did participated well to our team goals.&lt;br&gt;I discovered my strenghts were trying keep the group set on our task and semi-helping with the editing.&lt;br&gt;The quality of our product finished product was great once the background sound was out of the picture.&lt;br&gt;The areas i would like to improve in are keeping to our task and making sure that we do our movie without so many mistakes and help more with the editing next time.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;25/3/09&lt;br&gt;Today in My Web, we were getting ready for the presentation night later that day.
